The Pilgrims Society

The Pilgrims Society is a British-American society established promote good-will and everlasting peace between the United States and Great Britain. The Pilgrims Society consists of two chapters. The London chapter of the Pilgrims Society was established on July 11, 1902, and it was followed by the New York chapter on January 13, 1903. Its purpose is to foster better Anglo-American relationships through cooperation of top banking and manufacturing institutions. Over the years it has boasted an elite membership of politicians, diplomats, businessmen, and writers. The Pilgrims Society remained hidden until relatively recent years. Even today few people know about a society that is so old and has so many wealthy, influential and powerful people in it.
